Our Ethos

We aim to inspire children aged 4-17 to develop problem-solving skills, teamwork and resilience through the practical application of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) subjects.
We promote the development and understanding of STEAM education through enrichment (co-curricular) activities.
Enrichment and STEAM education are the foundation of our educational ethos.

 What is Enrichment education?

Enrichment education is the experiential learning and active participation of children in activities to stimulate and enhance learning.

Enrichment activities provide a unique opportunity for children to learn about a topic from a broader perspective as well as be exposed to creativity, innovation and higher-order thinking skills.

What is STEAM education?

In the simplest sense, STEAM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics.

The acronym was coined to recognise the contribution of an arts-integrated approach to STEM to foster creativity and innovation skills.

In the modern world, creativity is increasingly recognised as one of the most important 21st-century skills and is highly valued by employers.

The arts is itself a broad term that includes the creative arts, humanities and a wide range of social sciences.

At present, the STEAM acronym is commonly used by many schools and so-called educational companies with very little understanding of its meaning and purpose.

The Richer Education approach to STEAM recognises the importance and high value of the interrelation and integration between the subjects.

Equally, we recognise the significant contribution of the arts to the personal and professional development of individuals and the subsequent impact on the society as a whole.

We are open from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am until 9:00 pm and Saturdays and Sundays, from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm.
