OUR APPROACH: LEARNING IN A MORE ENGAGING WAY
Each individual child learns differently. We identify your child’s strengths and areas for further development and we tailor the school content before each session.
We balance the fundamental concepts children need to learn with practical learning through practical activities, friendly in-depth explanations, videos and a variety of resources.
EDUCATION CENTRE OPENING TIMES
- Mondays to Fridays – From 3:00 pm until 7:30 pm
- Saturdays and Sundays – From 10:00 am until 4:00 pm
LOCATION
HOW IT WORKS
- Book in advance either one hour or two hours per week (let us know your preferred day (s) and time for your child to attend).
- Your child attends their weekly session. During the sessions, our tutors support your child focusing on understanding the school subject and making academic progress.
- We discuss your child’s academic progress at the end of the school term.
DECIDE YOUR MEMBERSHIP
- Decide the subject you wish your child to revise during their weekly sessions. For example, 1) English, maths and science school support, 2) 11 Plus, 7 Plus or general exam preparation or 3) GCSE (any subject) support
- Decide the frequency of the sessions. One hour or two hours per week.
OUR TUTORS AND MENTORS
- All our tutors and mentors are DBS checked (enhanced police check)
- Our tutor and mentors are trained by us in teaching techniques, differentiation of content, Child Protection and Safeguarding
MONITOR YOUR CHILD’S ACADEMIC PROGRESS
- We will meet you virtually or face-to-face once a term to discuss your child’s academic progress
- We support your academic plans for your child throughout their time with us.
WHAT WE TEACH
- We teach children English, mathematics and science in line with the school curriculum
- We support your child the more complex school topics to make academic progress
